Wow!!!  My husband and I have read “Not by fire, but by Ice” twice, and given it to numerous people.  So we couldn’t wait to read "Magnetic Reversals and Evolutionary Leaps."

It’s great! I was especially interested in it, because I have a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Zoology, from Sydney University, Australia. I always had a huge interest in wildlife, and I can still remember being told way back in high school in 1978 that “There are virtually no transitionary fossils known yet, but that’s only because the fossil record isn’t complete”.

Well, I wonder if they still give that bilge to students? Because the fossil record IS complete now and there are STILL NO TRANSITIONARY FOSSILS. You either get a fossil with a feather, or no feather. But never half a feather. Your book answers a lot of questions. And I always wondered, where DID all that coal really come from?
